how do u define playing in tune ?as an indivual practicing ..it should be with the tuner right ..tune the notes to the tuner since u gt no reference pitch right ?than how about when we are playing in an ensemble ?like sectionals or sth .. when there are other players ..every stand in every section has their own "tuning pilliars" right ..so the other players in a particular section would tune to their "tuning pilliars" depending on what stand they play in right ..so if you gt a situation where ur main reference pitch player plays say slightly sharp and the player really really cant do anything about being that much sharp ..i mean it was very sharp because of enviromental factors the player tried her best to play as nearly in tune as possible ..shouldn't the others tune accordingly ?wouldn't that be call playing in tune as a section ?than we take the same situation but we edit it ..say the section is in tune to the "main tuning pilliar" player ..but a player decides to play according to the tuner and not with the section .. so who is playing it right or wrong ?is that player wrong ? or is the section wrong ?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~then if you a situation where ur sectionhas already tuned , made the neccessary adjustments to their instrument and stuff like that ..but than halfway while playing a music .. some notes start to get out of tune ..do u tune ur instrument to those notes or play the tuning notes and adjust the instrument ,and if those particular notes are still out ,adjust as we play the music ?anyone feel free to tag ur opinions ..
