hmmm, took 169 to the CC today ..a friend and her pal boarded the same bus ..pressed the alarm for the wrong stop haha ..bus driver looked back, i just waved him on signalling it was the wrong stop ..got down at the next, heat was killing me ..walked a little quicker to the office ..ah, cool air at last ..got the keys as usual, open the room, turned all the air cons on :X for some reason i find that the room stinks at times when we just open it ..kk, did some work, finished up the entire row of tape i bought ..like damn fast la, but it was well used ..pretty hungry and was feeling a bit weak ..bought a hot dog bun and milo, lucky i decided to eat ..practice was well, swo practice quite standard la haha ..lets play sth light, POC ? hahahahah ..your can gauge on your own la hor hahahah ..okie, hmmm, spiral resonance is out !!!my 2nd favorite piece la, 1st being haydn's oboe concerto ..chun bok was saying his favorite was symphonic variants ..than i said one mine was spiral haha, we both were like huh at each others choices ..guess our weakness lies in the opposite's choice of piece hahah ..anyway, he was like, the composer must be mad hahah, i totally agree ..aiya, suppose to play mahler today if i am not wrong ..he said last sunday we would play mahler today if i am not wrong,maybe i was wrong hahaha ..anyway what a waste, shall wait till next sunday, though i have a strong feeling it would only be after concert la ..ahhh, so sad, i wont be able to touch mahler by then ..can only savor it through my ears, and not by playing it ..its two different things, worlds apart ..to appreciate it by listening and to appreciate it through playing it ..playng mahler is good, i realised something every time i played it ..i would find it very easy to push the air through my clarinet ..plus the sound would change alot each time the band played mahler ..the wonder of a well written piece of work i guess hahaha ..had some downs during practice ..due to miscomunication i would say ..plus i gave the wrong infor to twain that the eupho scores werein the lower brass cupboard, it was in the upper brass cupboard ..anyway, it was sorted out pretty fast, glad the hill didnt become a mountain ..must be tactful with our words i guess ..and be understanding towards each other i guess ..no problems, that was a small issue that was settled pretty fast ..anyway, had meeting after that, pretty short ..come to think of it, being the SM for so long ..its only recently that i started doing things to the room ..dunno what was i doing before that haha, dreaming ?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~was on the way back home after dinner ..thomas gave me a lift back, forgot to thank him ..was listening to 92.4 in his vehicle ..than than was this clarinet solo song ..than me and vivian started talking about the tone color i wanna achieve ..here's what i wanted since the very day mr ng asked the band in YCK ..do your know what am i looking for in every section ?in terms of the the tone ..i just said, like bubbles of hot chocolate ? round round de,
dark dark color, than warm warm de .. hahawhen he arrived to the clarinets ..it took me quite a while to raise my hands and speak clearly back then hahah .. than he started asking me alot of, than alien questions,like,which registers/notes on the clarinet sounds like the flute/saxophone ..i think he meant the characteristics hahah, so just relate and give loh hahah ..stray a bit, everytime he asked me questions last time,i would be like oh shit oh shit hahahha, but then i learn alot la haha ..but yes, that still the sound i am trying to achieve, even till today ..its been more than 2 years actually ..i think its 3 plus years le ..let me recall, the first time i heard that beautiful clarinet sound ..was when i listened to a tape recording of an orchestra playing a symphony by beethoven or mozart ..my mum gave it to me, and i fell in love with that recording ..i would play it, stop the tape, rewind it, and repeat it over and over till i was gonna fall asleep ..that was the sound i aimed for, the goal i set for myself ..at that point of time i thought it impossible ..than in came mr ng to yck, and yes i slowly progress from there ..but i still quite a far cry from that sound hahah, sadly ..nvm, still working, experimenting on it ..shall continue my pursue of that wonderful sound hahah ..~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~think of what song should i change to next time hahah ..right now i have got nothing to do ..and therefore i am pretty bored ..maybe i shall take some driving lessons ..take my dad's car for a spin around the neighbourhood hahah ..i think when he returns, his V10 would be a V3 or less hahah ..a few pistons missing hahahah ..kk, shall not crap le, blog other times ..
