had a long day today, was supposed to work 1 to 7 ..around 4 o'clock the manager, danny, asked me whether i wanted to work from 1 to 11 tomorrow instead of my 12 to 6 ..so i was okie, that would be great, can earn more money mah ..then around 5 or 6, there was still alot of customers,so the other manager, one malay girl, asked whether i could work till 11 for today ..say reply, ahha, also because of the same reason ..so danny said okie u are on ..so today was 10 hrs of standing, same for tomorrow ..shit my legs are aching hahahahah, but its a fun job ..okie, had one hell of a bitch customer today ..she was with a friend, another lady who seemed pretty ok, quiet type ..so i was doing the waffles and everything waffle actually ..lini, the malay manger, was tending to the counter, there was a long queue ..danny was doing the pasta and other dishes in the kitchen ..eliza was doing the drinks, grace was serving the dishes ..both of them were also clearing the tables and washing the dishes too ..so yeah, 5 people, moving full steam ..anyway this lady had 3 dishes, so her first was ready but neither grace or eliza was around to help serve, all busy ..so i did it myself, did the standard stuff, served her and all ..than she requested for a second set of cutlery, fork and spoon for waffles ..so i replied sure, and gave a smile ..made a second trip, got her cutlery, and gave it to her very politely, seriously ..guess what she said when i gave her the cutlery ..who the fucking tone and attitude as though i was her fucking maria," you would have to give me a new set of cutlery when my other dishes come.i want a new set for every dish. "so i replied, sure no prob, gave a friendly smile, turned and fucked her upside down ..her second and third dish was served by grace, of cause the info was passed to grace ..i wouldn't mind doing all those rounds and listening to her if she was had brought the msg across in an at least friendly manner ..such kinda attitude, really pisses me off, what to do, i cant tick her off there and then cause she's the customer, gotta know my place ..oh do you know what happen to people like her ?for example, i had a friend who encountered a situation like this ..she went to the kitchen and grumbled to the chef, guess what he did ..for her steak, the beef went to the kitchen floor, under the chef's boots, wipe the floor a little, than on the plate, in the microwave than gravy over ..and the lady said it tasted great ..okie learn everything to do with waffles today ..started with just helping to make the waffles, pour the stuff into that hot plate ..than i was watching how sak, she left around 4, made those like caramel banana waffel, and stuff ..so i was like, i'll just watch and learn, than asked her some stuff, learned how to read the short form names of all the ice creams and waffle dishes ..so by around 3 plus i was mending the entire station myself, she was on break ..of cause grace would come by to help refill the flasks of waffle mixture and stuff ..pretty fun, sccop ice creams dumped them on the waffles ahhhaha ..let me see, there's CBW, caramel banana waffle,CW, chocolate waffle and some others ..so standard for the CW would be like this, if you want whip cream and choco sauce,and say, ice cream would be choco over load ..CW / / COL ..yeah, than for ice creams its like,COL -- chocolate over load,CC -- cookies & cream GT -- green tea VCC -- vanila cookies and cream WS -- wild straw bearies,okie think i spelled that wrongly, anyway 16 different flavors la ..there was a total of i think 6 mistakes today ..3 of which was committed by me, 3 by the counter hahaha, manager hahaha ..got burned by the hot plate once, was scooping the waffle out la ..grace too got burned, but slightly worst than me, my left no mark ..pretty fun yeah hahah, eliza is one hell of a blur girl but she's pretty fun ..heard she took the trash bag all the way to into a taxi without realising it,and only so when the taxi driver asked her why did she want that trash bag haha ..okie, realised something today ..most of our customers i would say around 70 percent are females ..and the come in groups, the guys usually come with their girl friends ..and i realised something else ..people are quite fascinated with the person doing the waffles and ice cream ..who ever it is, realised it when i was watching Sak,and when i was mending the station too ..its like, every time i turn round to sccop the ice cream, quite a few pairs of eyes would be on me ..or when i was scooping the ice cream and i got back up, there would be this big pair of eyes looking at me hahah, quite interesting ..okie a few pretty funny things happened today ..like there was this girl with her friend, so she wanted to try out one of the flavors ..used a plastic spoon, scooped a little for her ..so she said thanks and after a while i turned back took a waffle ..just nice when i was scooping the cookies and cream, her was considering whether or not to buy it ..so when i reached down to scoop, she was like nono, she doesn't want it ..i had a shock cause she was like you know, that kinda i dont want it, dun get it ..than when i saw the look in her eyes, very beautiful eyes, like jien's sister, i could help but laugh ahhaha ..was like i pulled down my mask and told her, haha its for another customer, do u wanna try it? i could get you another spoon, with that big smile on my face ..for some strange reasons they like to giggle when i have served them ..i cant help but think to myself, ok, what did i do wrong hahah ..like i followed the standard stuff, so i really cant figure out ..sometimes i would still be having my glove on when i serve the dishes ..so its like, when they asked for cutlery, i could only hold everything in one hand ..than when i apolegised for the crumpled tissue, not nice to serve the tissue like this, sure get scolding by district manager,they would giggle about and it and say it okie, i understand ..and the foreigners are really polite and when u say hi to them, they reply ..the ang mos and the japs especially ..and a customer gave a disgusted look today ahhah ..among my 3 mistakes, one was this ..i dumped a wrong flavor of ice cream onto the waffle, so i asked danny if i should do what he did, just dump it back, we wear gloves ..so he said ya, just dump back, no choice ..so i just grabbed it and dumped it loh ahah, than i caught the customer'slook from the side of my eye ahah, i was like ok thats not very nice ..walked over to the dustbin as though everything was normal, threw that glove, took a new one, wore it and continued with my work ..yeah though its considered quite cleanly handled, i mean the way we work, it still looks disgusting at times ..the most disgusting would be spading, and for that reason, i wouldn't buy ice cream till i am sure the top layer has been scooped before hahah ..for those friends who have read till here ..through all the nonsense at the top haha, here's something for you ..if you happen to pass by the outlet i am at ..and if you order an ice cream, you might get a big surprise hahah ..just dun say anything k, act normal,thats of cause if the managers aren't there hahaha ..okie, alighted at AMK MRT station, missed the last bus home ..no choice had to call home, called marcus to fetch me ..looks like they are still think i am out late because i am enjoying myself ..well, to a certain extend they are quite right, i am enjoying work hahah ..anyway, yeah, got home, had some noodles ..ate lunch at 11am plus, left for work at 11:30, prefer to be early for work ..than didnt eat till like around 9 or 10pm ..danny was kind enough to cook up something for us to eat, by right gelare doesn't provide meals for its workers ..well he said close one eye de la ..so yeah, eliza had pasta with some beef sauce while i had one sandwich, or two pieces of bread haha ..had my real dinner earlier on at 1230 am hahaha ..oh the early part hahah, its just that i prefer to be early when i can ..ended up danny was speaking to katherine, the morning - afternoon shift manager ..and i got a praise, for being early and other stuff hahaha ..they say i have a good work attitude and its amazing this is my first job ..10 to 15 mins early quite g00d le i guess haha, gives me time to prepare too ..anyway, managers are all happy with me, so guess i can have my pay raised soon ..there's a probation period before they raise your pay, however, if your performance is good than u might have it when they feel like it ..hmmm, well, since i am gonna work here till i enter army,why make it hell to work in right?boss happy, i happy, the others happy, customer got ice cream, than its heaven ..oh yesh, i realise that when i am doing what i like, work, time flies super fast hahah ..its like the 20 mins break i took, equals to the entire time spent at the waffle station today hahaha, thats why i hate breaks ..cant stand doing nothing, had to walk over to MPH to reaed books haha ..hmm, first job first job first job ..wonder if my first job was during the o level holidays, would my boss be mad ?i think its quite a yes, cause my attitude was bad back then ..maybe it still is, but from a person who is viewing his ownself ..he can only tell it when he looks back, regardless of how long or short ago ..others can straight away spot it, but the doer cant ..thats what i feel la ..its pretty hard being a good boy now, good boy in every way ..trying to be but the mind ain't that simple anymore, its pretty corrupted ..its like a virus working its way through a net work ..if its in a few of the computers, it can still be removed pretty easily ..however if it enters the main frame and writes itself into it,then its gonna be quite a challenge to remove it ..and naturally all computers linked to the main frame would be affected ..similarly, once the mind is corrupted, other things that require thinking would be affected by it ..like when you know whats it like to party, and if you like it, than you would wanna experience it again at times ..i guess its like what i said before, something like, innocence is lost through time and exposure ..in the garden of Eden there is one tree of knowledge and its serpent ..in my garden, every other tree has a tree of knowledge beside it with their serpent ..the fruit is sweet, take it ..
