had our armour initiation ceremony yesterday.scorpion coy (pioneers/mortar sergents & us scouts) plusthe new armour infantry sergents.started off with warm up, defaulter's parade. yeah, foot drills.then with weapons. went on to reverse SOC.did a short route march with casualties. ended up with 3 more casualties.the group was moving too slow. and we ended the whole thing with the pushing of the bionix.there were 3 of them on the parade square.the AI sgts divided themselves into 2 groups of 30.scorpion coy took the last bx, we had 20 man.overtook one group, drew with the other.seriously, i dunch know how they got their stripes.some of them are really weak. quite alot of us scouts and mortarswere doing the stretcher and taking over their field packs.meaning, we were doing the route march with two field packs.and at the end of the day,we concluded that generally, the scouts are fitter then the rest.of cause they have got some really fit guys.we scouts ended with this 'and they said the initiation was tough'
